Launch of the Contemporary World Economy Journal

On April 12, 2023, as a part of the XXIV Yasin (April) International Scientific Conference on Economic and Social Development, the Contemporary World Economy Journal launch event was held.

Head of School of World Economy and editor-in-chief Igor Makarov talked about the new journal, its concept, mission, objectives and topics, its place among other academic periodicals and its role in the work of the School.

Anastasia Likhacheva, Dean of the Faculty of World Economy and International Affairs, also spoke at the event. Editor-in-chief Leonid Grigoryev (HSE University), Glenn Diesen (University of South-Eastern Norway) and Evsey Gurvich (Economic Expert Group) presented their contributions to the Journal’s first issue.
