Геоэкономическая мощь Европы: расцвет и упадок Евросоюза
Аннотация
Геоэкономические блоки используют коллективный переговорный потенциал, чтобы улучшить позиции стран в международной экономике и конвертировать их экономическую мощь в политический капитал. Геоэкономика заложила фундамент мощи Евросоюза и его способности проецировать свои ценности и нормы на других. Однако либеральные идеалы были поставлены выше реалистического фундамента в виде геоэкономики. В результате телега оказалась впереди лошади, что привело к краху всей конструкции. Единый рынок заложил основы геоэкономической мощи Европейского союза, защищая внутренние рынки и открывая для европейских компаний внешние, а также цементируя внутреннее единство объединения. Общая валюта и последовательное расширение были призваны увеличить геоэкономическую мощь, но фактически они способствовали расколу между странами-членами и усилению отношений с нулевой суммой с другими государствами.
