XXVI April International Academic Conference named after Evgeny Yasin at HSE University

National Research University Higher School of Economics (HSE University) is pleased to announce this Call for Papers for applications to present scholarly reports at the XXVI April International Academic Conference named after Evgeny Yasin (XXVI April Conference).
The XXVI April Conference is scheduled to take place in Moscow on April 14–17, 2026.
The Conference programme will focus on the following thematic sections:
Economics:
- Macroeconomics and Economic Growth;
- Methodology of Economic Sciences;
- Theoretical Economics;
- Firms and Markets;
- Finance and Banking.
Human Capital and Society:
- Social Policy and Healthcare;
- The Demographics of Labour Markets;
- The Political Process;
- Sociology;
- Psychology.
Instrumental Methods and Models:
- Instrumental Methods in Economic and Social Research;
- Management.
Foresight Research:
- Russia’s Growth Scenarios Amid a Rapidly Changing External Environment;
- New Models and Methods for Technological and Socioeconomic Forecasting;
- International Symposium on “Foresight Research Amid Rapid Global Change.”
International Research:
- International Relations;
- The World Economy;
- Asian and African Studies.
Russian citizens wishing to participate in the Conference as an attendee, without presenting a report, should submit their applications by April 2, 2026. Foreign citizens who wish to attend without presenting a report must apply by March 2, 2026. Please note that the Programme Committee will have sole discretion to determine the final composition of Conference participants, including non-speaking attendees. See the “Participants” section of the Conference website for more information.
Events on the Conference programme will be held either in Russian or in English. Certain discussion sessions will be conducted in a bilingual format with simultaneous (conference) interpretation provided.
The Conference will be conducted primarily in a face-to-face format. However, in exceptional cases, the Programme Committee will have the sole prerogative to permit certain speakers and attendees to participate in a virtual, online format.
Payment of registration fees
The Conference registration fee is RUB 3,000 for both presenters and attendees.

The following participants will be exempt from the registration fee:
- Undergraduate and PhD students enrolled at Russian Universities, as well as the students of foreign partners of HSE University (upon presentation of their student ID and completing the registration process both in the system and onsite);
- HSE University staff members (upon presentation of their employee ID and completing the registration process both in the system and onsite);
- Participants who have received special personal invitations from the Conference Programme Committee, including honorary academic presenters, experts, moderators, roundtable speakers, discussion participants, and other special Conference invitees, honoured guests, and partners.
Registration fees must be paid:
- for presenters by March 20, 2026.
- for attendees by April 9, 2026.
